With the participation of Saulius Šiaučiulis (piano), Romualdas Lukošius (piano), Mykolas Eiva (drums), Romas Grigaitis (double bass)
Programme: César Frank, John Rutter, Ed Harris, Nijolė Sinkevičiūtė, Vladimiras Konstantinovas, Vytautas Miškinis

On the second day of Easter, the Klaipėda Choir Aukuras (artistic director and conductor Alfonsas Vildžiūnas) will rejoice in “A Resurrection Hymn.” Vytautas Miškinis, conducting his Light Mass, will make a special highlight of this festive programme. The composer says “there are two ways to understand its title: the mass comes close to pop music and, at the same time, it radiates much light and joy. It fuses the elements of traditional jazz and rock, while the Lithuanian sutartinės are always audible in the background.” The group of instrumentalists, consisting of Saulius Šiaučiulis (piano), Romualdas Lukošius (piano), Mykolas Eiva (drums) and Romas Grigaitis (double bass), will add an improvisatory touch to this composition.
