As a matter of symbolic coincidence, we will celebrate the birthday of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis (1875–1911) with a concert, in which his great grandson, Rokas Zubovas, will perform and comment on his output for piano. The programme highlights a number of his piano works that illustrate best his creative laboratory and stylistic evolution from folk song arrangements to the Fugue in B-flat minor.
