What unites the enchanting Rosina and the clever Figaro, the dreamy Gilda and the unpredictable Don Giovanni, the playful Mimi and the fiery Silva, the charming Count Danilo, or even the one who passionately sings “Granada” or softly whispers “Tell Her”? All of these characters are bound by love—sometimes tender, fleeting, and sincere, and other times fiery, stormy, and defying logic.
The evening’s program is a musical journey through love stories of different eras and genres: from the elegance of Mozart’s opera to the passionate intensity of Puccini, from the charm of Lehár and Kálmán operettas to the emotional fire of musicals and Spanish songs. Soprano Monika Pleškytė and baritone Steponas Zonys, accompanied by the Archi Quartet string ensemble, will reveal the infinite forms and colors of love that come alive through music.
