The Baltic Guitar Quartet, much like four musketeers, has been delighting audiences in Lithuania and abroad with the noble and romantic, and sometimes highly expressive, sound of classical guitar for the past twenty years. Initially formed as an ensemble of four students from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, the quartet welcomed a Belgian colleague into its ranks five years later. Over their two-decade musical journey, the quartet has developed a unique repertoire, which will be reflected in the concert program, including the first and most recent works written for the quartet by Chris Reubens, as well as a new piece created specifically for this occasion by Mindaugas Stumbras. The program will also feature pieces from the quartet’s earlier albums, such as “Dancing with Guitar,” “Tradicion nuevo,” and their latest album, “Pievų taku.”
The ticket price includes a €1.40 service fee for the Kakava.lt system. This fee is not subject to discount.
