Brass Quintet Anniversary with the Stars

The Klaipėda Brass Quintet, one of the longest-running and most prominent wind ensembles in Lithuania, celebrates a significant anniversary this year—four decades of developing brass culture in the port city and across the country. The current core of the quintet, celebrating its 10-year anniversary this year, brings together professionalism, long-standing tradition, and continuous renewal.

Over the past decades, the ensemble has collaborated with numerous renowned Lithuanian musicians, initiated educational and cross-genre projects, presented national premieres, and created a distinctive, widely recognizable sound. For this evening, the quintet has assembled a special team of guests: joining them will be clarinetist Rimvydas Savickas, oboist Robertas Beinoris, flutist Valentinas Gelgotas, birbynė player Egidijus Ališauskas, and vocalist Inga Jankauskaitė.

The concert will feature works and arrangements from the ensemble’s most notable projects. This evening is a musical retrospective revealing the ensemble’s artistic journey, its partnerships, and its significant contribution to the development of Lithuania’s wind-instrument culture.
