Latvian conductor Andris Veismanis, one of the most prominent representatives of choral culture in the Baltic States, will lead a two-day educational workshop in Klaipėda for choral music professionals, young conductors, teachers, and all those interested in choral art practices.
Together with the Klaipėda Choir “Aukuras”, he will analyze the principles of shaping contemporary choral sound, nuances of interpretation, aspects of conducting technique, and the specifics of repertoire.
During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to observe practical work with the choir, ask questions, and engage directly in the professional process. This is a rare chance to gain close insight into the experience of the longtime leader of the Latvian National Opera and professional choirs, as he creates interpretations of choral music from different eras and aesthetics.
The event may be photographed and filmed. Photos and videos will be used on the Klaipėda Concert Hall’s social media accounts and other communication platforms. By participating in the event, you confirm that you are informed about this and agree that non-identifying images of you may be used to publicize the event.
