As the festive concert season unfolds at the Klaipėda Concert Hall, this evening presents a distinguished programme that seamlessly blends classical mastery with contemporary sacred music.

The concert unites two of Lithuania’s most esteemed musical artists – pianist Mūza Rubackytė and conductor Modestas Pitrėnas – both laureates of the Lithuanian National Prize for Culture and Arts, and internationally recognized for their artistic excellence and inspiring contributions to the musical world.

Under the direction conductor of Modestas Pitrėnas, Mūza Rubackytė will perform a virtuosic piano concerto by Joseph Haydn, as well as Franz Liszt’s impassioned work "Malédiction", accompanied by the Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra. The programme will culminate in a performance of John Rutter’s Magnificat, rendered with richness and luminosity by the Aukuras Choir and the orchestra.
