The focus of tonight’s program is soloist Artyom Minasyan, originally from Armenia and renowned as one of the most outstanding performers of the authentic duduk instrument. He not only carefully preserves the heritage of Armenian mugham music but also boldly experiments with new sound explorations, venturing into contemporary music territories—from jazz to film soundtracks. Today, Artyom lives and works in France, where he teaches duduk performance at the Armenian Cultural Center in Alfortville.

Joining the Armenian duduk virtuoso on stage is the Klaipėda Brass Quintet—a dynamic and creative ensemble constantly seeking new forms, colors, and unexpected opportunities for musical collaboration. Together with Artyom Minasyan, the Lithuanian musicians will create an emotional and richly textured sonic story this evening.
