We at the Klaipėda Concert Hall will have yet another chance to attend the appearance of the riveting musical family – violinist Dalia Dėdinskaitė and cellist Gleb Pyšniak. We still remember the period when they both played with the Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra. Currently, they work at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society: Gleb joined the Čiurlionis String Quartet, while Dalia was recently appointed the concertmaster of the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra.
This time they invited pianist Simona Zajančauskaitė to take part in the chamber programme titled “Beethoven by the Baltic Sea,” which links the work of the Viennese classic to that of contemporary composers from the three Baltic countries. In the concert they will combine Beethoven’s piano trio with the works by the Baltic composers – Pēteris Vasks, Arvo Pärt and Anatolijus Šenderovas – as a musical reflection of sorts.
This concert will be broadcast live via Facebook account.
