This musical fairy tale introduces a diverse and rich variety of music and cultures from around the world to the young listeners in Klaipėda. The auditorium will turn into the interior of a plane and the audience will take part as passengers.

“With this performance we wish to demonstrate how colourful, diverse and vast the world of music is,” says Birutė Mar, director of this performance. “The action begins even before the performance starts reminds of passengers boarding an airplane. The flight attendants are checking their tickets, stewardesses are attending to the door, there is also a checkpoint and a signboard “Trumpet Airlines.” As the viewers are gathering to the event, announcements are being heard, similar to those we hear at the airports: for example, “Attention, attention, passenger Mr. … travelling from the Trumpet City to Madagascar please proceed immediately to Gate 18,” and the like.”

The “Trumpet Airlines” musical liner will take the listeners on a voyage around the globe. Together with pilots Raynar and Wizzar, with stewardesses in tow, you will travel to every continent and country, listen to the music from various parts of the world, reach the Antarctica, and possibly even fly to the Moon. Having searched where the wind, dreams and thoughts come from, the travellers return to the Earth just to realise how wonderful their native spot is!
