The Kaunas String Quartet, together with guitarist Sergej Krinicin – laureate of international competitions, member of the Baltic Guitar Quartet, and active promoter of classical guitar tradition – invites you on a musical journey intertwining history, the city, and the memory of human emotions.
The concert will feature Argentine composer Máximo Diego Pujol’s suites: the dramatic “Guernica”, inspired by Pablo Picasso’s monumental painting and the tragedy of war, and the “Buenos Aires” Suite, revealing the character of different districts of the city – from nostalgic streets to the rhythm of tango and urban bustle. The program is complemented by Fausto Latėnas’ sensitive and theatrical String Quartet No. 2 “In Bright Memory” and Teisutis Makačinas’ energetic “Scherzo Concertante”, adding playful chamber music nuances to the evening.
The event may be photographed and filmed. Photos and videos will be used on the Klaipėda Concert Hall’s social media accounts and other communication platforms.
