According to Tomas Ambrozaitis, Artistic Director of the Aukuras Choir, “This programme marks a tradition when Arūnas Pečiulis, a conductor from Klaipėda, returns to conduct Nijolė Sinkevičiūtė’s Christmas Prayers, perhaps the most suitable work for this season. For many years now he has been living and working in Salzburg, a city with a rich musical culture, where he gleans ideas for his concert programmes.”
