Viennese Waltz

On stage is the unique French clarinet quartet Quatuor Anches Hantées, distinguished not only by its rare ensemble of four instruments—clarinet, basset horn, and bass clarinet—but also by its top-tier interpretations and highly tasteful, lively arrangements of classical music repertoire.

The program’s dramaturgy spans the dance music of Vienna’s golden age, the grandeur of German Romanticism, contemporary musical experiments, and lyrical echoes of the piano tradition. We are confident that these familiar and beloved works will sound bold and unexpected—after all, they are performed by four brilliant wind players from the clarinet family!
