Salve Musica

Since 2005, the festive classical music festival “Salve Musica”, organized by Klaipėda Concert Hall, has become a traditional year-end music festival at the Klaipėda Concert Hall. Each year, the festival invites audiences to welcome the festive season through exceptional concerts, international guests, and inspiring music. The festival’s title — “Salve Musica” (“Hello, Music”) — symbolizes a sincere invitation to come together through sound, meaning, and beauty.

Taking place in December, the festival’s program spans a wide musical spectrum, from Baroque masterpieces and chamber classics to contemporary vocal works, interpretations of ethnic traditions, jazz, swing, and educational concerts for families.

The festival brings together Lithuanian and international performers — renowned soloists, choirs, chamber ensembles, orchestras, and young talents — whose artistic partnerships are formed not only on stage but also through cultural dialogue. “Salve Musica” stands out not only for its artistic quality but also for its atmosphere: a warm, community-oriented festival that reflects the longing of the winter season and the sparkle of the holidays.
