The Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra maintains close artistic relations with Swiss artists. The Orchestra presents programmes prepared together with them not only in Lithuania, but also in Switzerland. This concert is one of the examples of such successful cooperation. Maurice Steger, a world-renowned recorder player and interpreter of Baroque music will join the orchestra during performances at the Klaipėda Concert Hall and the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Hall in Vilnius. By the way, he has as many as 70 of rare Baroque recorders in his collection! The programme will be conducted by Maestro Christian Knüsel, with whom the orchestra performed for the first time at the Murten Classics Festival in Switzerland.
