Information for concert goers

Wind instruments and the human voice share the characteristic of using air and breath to produce sound. The expressive timbre of both brass instruments and the human voice allows for a wide range of emotions to be conveyed in the performed pieces, with singing and playing intertwining to create a lively dialogue. Each piece in the program, whether composed by Baroque geniuses Johann Sebastian Bach and Alessandro Scarlatti or contemporary composers, will undoubtedly leave a deep impression on the audience with its virtuosity and emotional impact, comparable only to the enchanting effect of birdsong early in the morning.

The program’s dynamism will be enhanced by the voice of the young coloratura soprano Katažina Dudareva. A graduate of the Latvian Academy of Music and the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, and winner of the Vincė Jonuškaitė-Zaunienė Singers’ Competition in 2024, she pays special attention to the music of the Baroque and Classical periods in her programs.

The event may be photographed and filmed. Photos and videos will be used on Klaipėda Concert Hall’s social media pages and other communication channels.
