It is no coincidence that this educational programme is one of the most popular offerings of the Klaipėda Concert Hall.

The Klaipėda Brass Quintet, together with actors, invites young listeners to Karlsson’s Little School — a lively and engaging musical encounter.

In this programme, the trumpet, French horn, trombone, and tuba will not only sound but will also have the chance to reveal their own personalities. Playful Karlsson, always full of unexpected ideas, will explore the secrets of the instruments with children, discovering their names and the differences in their sounds. Through music, theatre, and entertaining conversations, young listeners will discover that a concert can be a place not only for listening, but also for asking questions, laughing, and learning.

With music by Jacques Offenbach, Tauras Adomavičius, and other composers, Karlsson’s Little School will become children’s first introduction to the colourful world of brass instruments.
