Cockroach’s Song

What can violins, a viola, and a cello tell us about animals? Much more than you might think! In this cozy musical story, young listeners will meet the string quartet of the Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra and embark on a playful journey through the animal world.

The music heard at the concert will become a gateway into a fantasy-filled forest inhabited by various characters – a lively hare, a curious little bird, a serious bear, or a nimble little beetle. The live performances will help children recognize the different timbres of the instruments, while educator Dovilė Kirdaitė will invite the little ones to sing, clap, sway, and explore musical sounds through movement.
