George Frideric Handel’s opera Alcina is one of the brightest examples of Baroque opera, full of magic, love, and illusion.

This concert performance will unite the forces of academic and early music experts – the Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra will be joined by Canto Fiorito, an international ensemble of historically informed musicians recognized across Europe, and the opera roles will be performed by soloists from Lithuania.

At the conductor's podium will stand Rodrigo Calveyra, a renowned early music specialist who has worked with some of Europe’s most prominent Baroque opera directors.

The visual storytelling of this Baroque opera will be enhanced by specially created video projections by Agnė Gintalaitė, incorporating artificial intelligence. These visuals will serve not only as a striking backdrop but also as a modern reflection on the boundary between reality and illusion.

The audience can expect a unique evening where the grandeur of Baroque soundscapes merges with contemporary imagination and the power of technology.
