A quarter to midnight, immerse yourself in the music of Swedish genius Svante Henryson. His cello melodies, blending with the sound of the orchestra, reveal a unique magic of classical music, jazz and rock fusion. Tonight you will witness how sounds and musical emotions merge into an unforgettable, masterfully performed experience. Come and experience something you would never expect from classical music!
Klaipėda Cello Quartet, together with Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra, will perform original compositions by the renowned Swedish cellist, classical, jazz and rock musician and composer Svante Henryson. A brilliant classical performer, Henryson also plays bass guitar and double bass. His works encompass symphonic music, chamber music and choral compositions. He has received numerous awards, including the Swedish Radio Jazz Musician of the Year award and the Nordic Council Music Prize. Svante Henryson is also an ECM recording artist.
