Listening to this concert, sound does not so much tell a story as it reveals a state of being. The vocal music ensemble Melos and the cello quintet Cello Club, led by conductor Karolis Variakojis, invite audiences into a meditative soundscape painted entirely in monochrome tones—a continuous vibration hovering at the edges of silence.

The concert program features works by contemporary Lithuanian composers, drawn from the album Monochrome. These pieces explore subtle shifts in sonic color, where inner timbral tension intertwines with delicate intonational fluctuations. This is not background music—rather, the fusion of cello and human voice demands focus and deep listening.
