Lithuanian popular hits

The Panevėžys Wind Orchestra “Garsas”, led by conductor Martynas Bražas, invites you to a concert of Lithuanian pop classics and new melodies. Sharing the stage with the orchestra are two renowned Lithuanian soloists — baritone Dainius Puišys and soprano Aistė Pilibavičiūtė — performing familiar songs, duets, and popular melodies.

The program offers a broad panorama of Lithuanian composers: from pop classics by Eduardas Balsys, Benjaminas Gorbulskis, Mikas Vaitkevičius, Mikalojus Novikas, Algimantas Raudonikis, Teisutis Makačinas to contemporary creators such as Andrius Kulikauskas, Laimis Vilkončius, Vytautas Kernagis, Jaroslav Cechanovič, Tomas Leiburas, Gintautas Abariaus, and many others. The concert will feature solo performances, duets, pop medleys, and instrumental arrangements that blend the lively sound of the orchestra with the nostalgia and energy of the pop genre.
