The Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra is collaborating with the cello star from the United Kingdom, Matthew Barley, once again. He returns to Lithuania with an educational program designed for teenagers. The renowned cellist performs in some of the world’s most prestigious venues, such as London’s Barbican Hall, alongside leading orchestras and conductors. However, he has also faced significant personal challenges in life, from which music helped him to recover.
With Lithuanian youth, he will discuss music, its impact, and its power even in the most difficult life situations. Naturally, he will also share his music, as Matthew Barley is not only a performer of classical and contemporary music but also an improviser.
