The Vilnius Balys Dvarionas Ten-Year Music School Symphony Orchestra “Simfukai,” which has been active for 25 years, is coming to Klaipėda with 11-year-old violin virtuoso Sora Lavorgna from France. She will perform the first movement of Felix Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor, which requires exceptional virtuosity. Born in Grasse, France, Sora began her musical journey at the age of four.She is a laureate of numerous competitions, including first prize at the “Flame” competition in Paris, as well as in the instrumental music category of the French TV show “Prodiges.” Sora is also a Grand Prize winner of the Arthur Grumiaux International Violin Competition in Belgium and an absolute winner of the Kocian Violin Competition in the Czech Republic, among others. She plays a historical 1914 Scarampella violin.

- 100% – for students of Klaipėda art schools (Klaipėda Stasys Šimkus Conservatory, Klaipėda Juozas Karosas Music School, Klaipėda Eduardas Balsys Art Gymnasium, Klaipėda Jeronimas Kačinskas Music School, Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre Klaipėda Faculty, Klaipėda Adomas Brakas Art School, Klaipėda Vydūnas Gymnasium), upon presenting a valid document proving this.
