The Vilnius Balys Dvarionas Ten-Year Music School Symphony Orchestra "Simfukai," which has been active for 25 years, is coming to Klaipėda with 11-year-old violin virtuoso Sora Lavorgna from France. She will perform the first movement of Felix Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor, which requires exceptional virtuosity. Born in Grasse, France, Sora began her musical journey at the age of four.She is a laureate of numerous competitions, including first prize at the "Flame" competition in Paris, as well as in the instrumental music category of the French TV show "Prodiges." Sora is also a Grand Prize winner of the Arthur Grumiaux International Violin Competition in Belgium and an absolute winner of the Kocian Violin Competition in the Czech Republic, among others. She plays a historical 1914 Scarampella violin.
