Gintaras Januševičius, a tirelessly inventive and creative pianist, always manages to captivate the audience with both original artistic ideas and attractive performance formats. Together with the Klaipėda Brass Quintet, he now presents a programme of works by New York-based composers. They will entertain the listeners spending their holidays by the Baltic Sea by performing works of George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein and Leroy Anderson arranged for piano and brass quintet.
By the way, Gintaras’s father is the renowned trumpeter Algirdas Januševičius, so he has known the melodies of this heavenly instrument since his childhood, which the pianist, who is currently residing in Germany, spent in Klaipėda.
