Information for concert goers

The final concert of the festival offers an intriguing fusion of carillon music and contemporary dance. Paul Maassen, a Dutch carillonneur appearing for the first time at the festival, has written a ballet for carillon and string quartet, which he will perform together with the NeoQuartet from Poland. The ballet will be choreographed by two choreographers and dancers from Klaipėda, Dovilė Binkauskaitė and Inga Kuznecova.

The Klaipėda Carillon, which has been first installed in the Klaipėda Post Office Tower 36 years ago, has become a symbol of the city’s distinctive character. Rain or shine, the Klaipėda Carillon Festival will welcome you, dear listeners!
